Wickerpark

Wickerpark, one of the most famous festivals in Lebanon, is a grassroots alternative music festival in the Lebanon town of Batroun. It has succeeded in becoming a special destination in the country's independent festival experience. This zero-waste festival is held on a large field near the founder's beach house in the seaside town of Batroun (55km north of Beirut).

Wickerpark plays a unique role in the dynamics of modern-day Lebanon's alternative culture. The Festival's musical programming combines emerging Lebanese talent with more recognized and experienced bands and frequently involves both local Lebanese musicians and foreign guests in the course of one unique, full-fledged day of festivities. Wickerpark is often regarded as the most relaxed, approachable, and enjoyable live music venue in the country.

Wickerpark believes in our responsibility to the environment and the community. We make a special effort to reach out to the social and artistic communities through NGOs, and independent organizations displaying projects centered on sustainability, art, activism, and outdoor activities that match the Festival's philosophy.
