  1. The Baalbeck International Festival is one of the most famous festivals in Lebanon. People from all over the world have flocked to the city of Baalbek in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley to attend the annual festival. Classical music, dance, theater, opera, jazz, and modern world music are all performed at the historic Roman Acropolis each July and August. It is performed at the ancient Roman Acropolis, one of the largest and best-preserved Roman temples ever erected, every July and August. The different presentations are presented against a backdrop of dramatic lighting and a one-of-a-kind historic location. Deep Purple, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Miles Davis, Sting, The Royal Ballet, and The New York Philharmonic Orchestra have all performed.


    The Baalbeck International Festival began in the mid-twentieth century, with the first organizing events taking place in 1955. After a year, President Chamoun renamed it the Baalbeck International Festival, which evolved into a governmental institution with the objective of promoting tourism and Lebanese culture.

    On July 5, 2020, the Baalbeck International Festival presented "The Sound of Resilience," the first cultural event and premiere in the Middle East following the incarceration of COVID-19. Under the guidance of Maestro Fazlian and with the involvement of Rafic Ali Ahmad, the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra presented this non-profit concert with the Choirs of Antonine University, Notre Dame University, and Qolo Atiqo, as well as young Lebanese musicians.

  2. The Beiteddine Festival, one of the most famous festivals in Lebanon, is an annual summer festival that takes place in Beiteddine Palace in Beiteddine, Lebanon. It was launched in the middle of the 1980s, amid war and disaster. It was a gesture of faith in Lebanon's cultural uniqueness, as well as its creative and artistic independence. It was an appeal for normalcy in the midst of the civil war's chaos and madness. It began in 1984 with local artistic performances and subsequently expanded to include regional and international performers.


    The Beiteddine Festival takes place in a magnificent 200-year-old palace in this town in Lebanon's Chouf region. The Byblos festival is held at the historic city's seafront, near the Phoenician temple, Roman theater, Crusader castle, and winding souk. By creating this celebration of human culture, organizers resisted the challenges of Lebanon's civil conflict. Many of the performers are Lebanese, although artists from all around the world are also welcomed. It has included concerts or performances connected to classical music, dance, theater, opera, jazz, and modern world music over the years.

  3. The Byblos International Festival is a Lebanese festival hosted at Byblos, which is thought to be the earliest Phoenician city and was founded around 5000 BC. The festival is one of the biggest in Lebanon and attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world.


    The event brings together a varied spectrum of foreign and local acts, including Moby and jazz pianist Jamie Cul Concerts are held in venues all across town over the course of a few weeks. As one of the most famous festivals in Lebanon, the event is extremely well organized, with enough ushers and assistants, lighting, and video screens to ensure that everyone in attendance can view the show. It also includes clean restrooms and numerous food and beverage kiosks.


    Since 2003, The Byblos International Festival has been held in July. The festival takes place at the historic city's seafront, near the Phoenician temple, Roman theater, Crusader castle (built in the 12th century), and meandering souk. The festival's goals are to increase tourism, promote Lebanese culture, and convey music and art from the Middle East to the rest of the world.

  4. One of the most recognized cities in Lebanon, Jounieh sparkles throughout the summer. The Jounieh International Festival is the focus for summer fireworks, gorgeous gatherings of boats along the shore, Lebanese theater, and of course music.   5. Wickerpark, one of the most famous festivals in Lebanon, is a grassroots alternative music festival in the Lebanon town of Batroun. It has succeeded in becoming a special destination in the country's independent festival experience. This zero-waste festival is held on a large field near the founder's beach house in the seaside town of Batroun (55km north of Beirut).


    Wickerpark plays a unique role in the dynamics of modern-day Lebanon's alternative culture.
