William B. "Bill" Acker

Bill Acker is a stakeholder, director, and vice president of the company. With Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, he has a "AV" peer review rating, which is the highest peer review rating for attorneys. He was also chosen for participation in the top 5% of attorneys in Michigan in the practice area of Estate Planning & Probate in the 2010-2019 issues of Michigan Super Lawyers magazine. His writings have also appeared in the Wayne Law Review and the Michigan Tax Lawyer, the professional publication of the State Bar of Michigan Taxation Section.

He frequently speaks about the tax implications of federal tax legislation on real estate development, financing, investment, and ownership, as well as the structuring of real estate and other businesses and joint commercial ventures. He gives talks for the American Bar Association, Michigan's Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the State Bar's Real Property Section, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and other professional groups of real estate attorneys, tax attorneys, and certified public accountants.
