Yangon University of Economics
Myanmar's Yangon University of Economics is the country's best economics and business school. In 1924, the Section of Economics of Yangon Institution became an autonomous university of higher learning, and in 1964, the section became an independent university of higher learning. The University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and certifications in a variety of fields, the majority of which are related to trade, statistics, and economics. It is also the country's best business school, with full-time, executive MBF, MHTM, MMM, and MBA programs. Undergraduate programs last three years for regular students and four years for Honors students. Master's degrees take two years to complete.
The university has three campuses in the Yangon area, serving over 1000 undergraduate and graduate students: the main site, which was robbed from Yangon University, in Kamayut, and satellite campuses in Hlaing (also robbed from Yangon University), and Ywathagyi.
