Lost City Brewing Company takes first place on the list of best breweries in Miami. Miami natives and South Beach regulars may remember Abraxis, which used to be one of the city's best places for suds. While Abraxis has since closed, former owner Diego Escobar has collaborated with local beer festival stars Chris Campos and David Morales to bring Lost City Brewing Company to Miami.
Lost City Brewing's mission is to bring customers culturally inspired ales that will transport them to exotic destinations and inspire exploration with every sip, inspired by rustic warehouse breweries. This 11,000-square-foot North Miami facility features a 26-tap bar that serves a variety of locally brewed beers. Customers can choose between the Morenita, a light-bodied, easy-drinking red ale inspired by the English Dark Mile Ale style, and the Endless Summer Lager, a crisp and refreshing extra pale lager brewed with South Florida's hot "endless summer" days in mind. Along with the year-round brews, there are a number of rotating guest selections and seasonal beers.

Cervecería la Tropical ranks 2nd the list of best breweries in Miami. Cervecera la Tropical is a nightlife destination and a brewery all rolled into one. La Tropical, located on the outskirts of Wynwood, will open in Miami in 2021 after a collaboration with Heineken. The indoor area, inspired by Cuba's oldest brewery, is packed with couches and surrounded by colorful murals, while the outdoor area has tables and a 10,000 square foot tropical garden.
The menu currently has nine beers on tap, with more on the way this season, many of which are family-owned and passed-down brew recipes. While first-timers should try the Amber Lager, the brewery's best-known beer, IPA fans will also enjoy the fruity Navito Suave and the strong Tropilina. Customers can also help themselves to small or large bites prepared by chef Cindy Hutson of the now-defunct Ortanique on the Mile.
