The UCA comprises 13 faculties and a research center with over 50,000 students, offering diplomas ranging from two-year undergraduate degrees to professional academic, medical, legal, and specialized degrees.

From 1964 to 1996, it was the main campus of the University of Abidjan, which thereafter became an independent university. It is a state-owned and run institution that is accountable to the Ministry of Education.

Felix Houphouet-Boigny National Polytechnic Institute

The Ivory Coast's Félix Houphout-Boigny National Polytechnic Institute (INP-HB) is a public higher education institution, ranked second on our ranking of the best universities in Côte d’Ivoire . Alassane Ouattara University

The Université Alassane Ouattara (UAO), or Alassane Ouattara University, is a public university that ranks third on our list of the best universities in Côte d'Ivoire. Prior to August 2012, the university was known as Université de Bouaké.
