    University of Indonesia

Universitas Indonesia (University of Indonesia, or UI) was founded in 1849 and is currently ranked joint 305th in the World University Rankings. In addition, Universitas Indonesia is ranked 59th in the QS Asia University Rankings, with campuses in Depok, West Java, and Jakarta. With a capacity of 1.5 million books, the university's library is considered the largest in Southeast Asia.

In 2007, Universitas Indonesia underwent significant change, which resulted in an increase in revenue and research publications. The university's distinctive emblem represents the concept of kala-makara (nature's two sources of energy, the sun and the Earth); the tree represents science and its branches and buds that will blossom into new knowledge, while the water pouring down denotes scientific efforts.

The University of Indonesia is a multi-cultural, open-minded institution that offers a wide range of academic programs. Furthermore, they are constantly expanding their programs in order to become a world-renowned academic center. UI continues to play a significant role both locally and globally in ensuring that the majority of Indonesians receive a proper education. As a result, they have proceeded to establish a high-quality education system while also constructing a global research center. Their response to research has demonstrated that they are competing for first place among research universities.

The University of Indonesia (UI) is notable for its active contribution to rapidly extending its worldwide network. Indeed, they have taken important advances by participating in higher education groups. APRU (Association of Pacific Rim Universities), AUN (ASEAN University Network), and ASAIHL are a few of these educational organizations (Association of South East Asia Institution of Higher Learning).

UI has two campuses, each in a different part of the state. One of their campuses has more than 320 hectares of land. 320, to be exact! The nice part is that 75 percent of the land area is dedicated to forestation. This is related to the university's mission to encourage environmental awareness.

As a university dedicated to providing world-class education, UI's structure deviates from the usual. The school is divided into three clusters that hold all of the faculties and departments. Science and technology, social sciences and humanities, and health sciences are the three clusters. There are also undergraduate, graduate, foreign, and vocational programs available to students. As a result, students can select a curriculum based on their goals.

When accepting students, UI employs SIMAK, an integrated selection procedure. They are generally tests that are carried out as part of each program.

    Bandung Institute of Technology

Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), which is ranked 313th in the world and 62nd in Asia, was founded in 1920 as a branch of the Dutch Delft Institute of Technology. When it became an independent academic organization in 1959, it was called Technische Hoogeschool te Bandoeng. Since then, ITB has grown into a globally known university, ranking among the top 300 universities in the world for mechanical engineering. It has around 20,000 students and is located in Bandung (one of Indonesia's major cities), with campuses totaling 770,000 square meters.

Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is a learning institution that specializes in science, technology, and the fine arts. The school's objective is to serve the community via high-quality education, research, and service.

Government Decree No. 155/2000 paved the way for the school to become a self-contained institution. Indeed, this provided the institution with the leverage it required to administer its programs efficiently and effectively. Since that edict, the institution has designed its curriculum to assist each and every student. In addition, they have implemented a method to monitor quality control in order to achieve their goals. This leverage has aided in the promotion of ideation as well as the calculation of risk-taking on every move.

There are schools and faculties in this institution that are in charge of the many topic areas. Furthermore, they have centers for many subject areas, as well as research centers and a center of excellence in science and technology. Students who are interested in any of the undergraduate, postgraduate, or student exchange programs can apply.

As a result, they will be one of the greatest universities in Indonesia in 2022.

    Gadjah Mada University

Gadjah Mada University (UGM), another of Indonesia's most famous institutions, is placed joint 254th in the QS World University Rankings and joint 57th in Asia. It was founded in 1949 and is the country's largest university, with around 50,000 students enrolled in 18 faculties, including 1,187 international students. Its 360-acre main campus is located in Yogyakarta, one of the country's smaller towns, contributing to the city's reputation as a hub of education. UGM has recently implemented a "educopolis area," which fosters learning by fostering diverse cooperation and reacting to critical environmental challenges.

Uversitas Gadjah Mada sprang from the Indonesian nation's revolutionary battle for independence. The UGM, which was established at the start of the country's independence, has been designated as a scientific and cultural center of higher education.

This university, known as "Universitas Gadjah Mada," is the result of the merger of many previously established higher education institutions. Despite the fact that the institutions began on December 16, 1949, as stipulated in government rules, the UGM's anniversary date was changed to December 19 owing to historical events in Indonesia that occurred on that day.

Furthermore, the name Gadjah Mada has a particular connotation that includes the spirit and excellent example of Majapahit Empire Prime Minister Gadjah Mada, who was able to unify the Nusantara archipelago. This has essentially been understood in the construction of the UGM's identity as a national university, the spirit of the Republic of Indonesia's existence, the University of Pancasila, the Popular University, and the University Center of Culture.

The UGM initially comprised six faculties: the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, the Faculty of Agriculture, and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. As a result, the first conferences were held at the Sitihinggil and Pagelaran complexes, as well as in the rooms and amenities of Yogyakarta's Kraton Palace. The UGM now contains 18 faculties, a PhD program, a vocational program, and hundreds more study programs.

    Bogor Agric University(IPB)

The origins of IPB may be traced back to 1940, when the country's first agricultural higher education was held. The IPB was formally created on September 1, 1963, based on the Minister of Higher Education and Science's Decree No. 91/1963 and authorized by the President of the Republic of Indonesia's Decree No. 279/1965.

Bogor Agric University is a premier education school with international acclaim. To be more specific, they were named Indonesia's most innovative institution. They are getting closer to their objective thanks to an exceptional organizational structure and knowledgeable workforce.

As an IPB student, you get access to the most up-to-date materials in every academic area provided by the institution. Sports facilities and fantastic restaurants and diners are also extremely essential components of the school. Students who are new at IPB do not need to bother about obtaining housing. This is because the institution provides a student dormitory with a capacity of 4000 male and female students during the first year. There are canteens, cafeterias, restaurants, kiosks, computer rentals, pharmacies, and kiosks/shops next to the dormitories to suit the students' everyday requirements.

The welcoming gate at IPB Campus Darmaga is the first thing IPB students see when they arrive on campus. The campus sits on the western outskirts of Bogor City and Bogor District. It is surrounded by 17 villages, which have around 1300 houses/rooms for rent and are home to over 25.000 IPB students.

    Airlangga University

Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is one of Indonesia's top and oldest universities. It was founded in 1954 by Ir. Sukarno, the first President of the Republic of Indonesia. Soekarno. The institution was named after Prabu Airlangga, a renowned monarch who ruled East Java in 1019.

The mythological bird Garuda ("Garudamukha") — the miraculous bird of Lord Vishnu portrayed carrying an urn with the perpetual water "Amrta" — is the Universitas Airlangga Coat of Arms. It embodies the ethos of Universitas Airlangga's commitment to knowledge and civilization.

The Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) has launched the "Sustainable Education for All" initiative, which aims to increase the relevance and eligibility of graduates. It is shown in four indicators: first-year graduate salaries, hiring wait times, employment eligibility for graduates, and graduates' potential to generate new jobs. It is an endeavor to strengthen the university's academic reputation and the applicability of graduate competency to current industry. Inter-Professional Education (IPE) and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) are used to support this curriculum (OBE).

Inter-Professional Education (IPE) is designed to prepare students for collaborative inter-professional work. Since 2016, it has been in use in the Faculty of Medicine. With 870 pupils, 2019 was the year with the most participants for IPE programs. 116 activities were performed in 2020 despite the COVID-19 epidemic, and they will be held online in 2021. The IPE exercises have proven that students work together to improve their knowledge and abilities in order to meet predefined goals.

A learning plan is designed based on projects and evidence in the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) method. It is aided by technology advancements since lectures are delivered in three formats: online learning, hybrid learning, and blended learning. There are two types of online learning: synchronous and asynchronous. Synchronous learning is held through 551 Virtual Classrooms for 19,285 courses each week and 1 VC for 83 webinars during the first semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Asynchronous learning is accomplished in a variety of ways, including through the use of a Learning Management System (LMS).

Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) are used to undertake technology-based teaching and learning activities (MOOC). The Learning Management System (LMS) is available via the website elearning.unair.ac.id (AULA) and a mobile app called Airlangga Learning in Mobile App (ALMA). Because it contains important features like material sharing, discussion forums, and assessment, LMS makes it easier for lecturers and students to undertake teaching and learning activities. The UNAIR MOOC is about making UNAIR learning resources available to the general audience. MOOC has made 150 easily accessible learning resources available on a variety of themes.

Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) includes dorms for male and female students, as well as domestic and international students. The dorms are located on Campus C and include appropriate amenities such as a large parking lot, fast internet, and decent security. Flash buses are given free of charge to ease students' travel between Surabaya universities. They are spotless, cozy, and secure. Every half-hour, they arrive at the bus stations on each campus.

Students might also choose to live in an apartment or boarding home near the university. Karang Menjangan, Jojoran, Gubeng Kertajaya dan Gubeng Airlangga (Campus B), Kali Kepiting and Mojo (Campus A), Sutorejo and Mulyorejo (Campus C) also have a large number of boarding homes.
