Vienna General Hospital (German: Allgemeines Krankenhaus der Stadt Wien), commonly referred to as AKH, is a general hospital in Vienna, Austria. It is also the university hospital of the Medical University of Vienna. The origin began its work in 1686 when Dr. Johann Frank donated the property to build the hospital after ending the war in Vienna.
