Sahlgrenska University Hosspital – Sweden

Sahlgrenska University Hospital is a hospital system linked with the University of Gothenburg's Sahlgrenska Institute in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Niclas Sahlgren, a Swedish merchant and director of the Swedish East India Company, named the hospital after donating funding to erect it in 1772. Sahlgrenska University Hospital has risen to become one of Northern Europe's largest hospitals.

In Sweden, hospitals have been assigned more national health care obligations than any other institution in the country. Many treatments that benefit patients all over the world have been created here.
