A Millionaire's First Love
A Millionaire's First Love is a South Korean romance film directed by Kim Tae-kyun and starring Hyun Bin and Lee Yeon-hee that was released in 2006. "Nothing is more important than the true love of your heart," says the film's theme.
Kang Jae-kyung (Hyun Bin) is the typical wealthy child. He is arrogant, drives sporty cars, frequents large clubs, and rides his motorcycle through school corridors. As his 18th birthday approaches, Jae-kyung is set to inherit his grandfather's fortune, but first, he must transfer to a new school in Gangwon Province and graduate. Until then, he has no access to his penthouse, cottage, or credit cards. He will lose everything if he does not graduate or drops out. If he chooses to give up, he will receive only 0.1 percent of his total inheritance. With this in mind, he travels to the countryside to a small town where daily life is very different from what he is used to.
