The Negotiation

The Negotiation is a South Korean action crime thriller film directed by Lee Jong-suk and starring Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin. The movie tells about Ha Chae-yoon (Son Ye-jin), an expert crisis negotiator, who squares off against Min Tae-gu (Hyun Bin), a ruthless hostage taker who kidnapped two Koreans in Bangkok, Thailand. Over the course of 21 hours, she tries to force him to reveal his motivations. Faced with the cold-blooded hostage taker Tae-gu over multiple video calls, she tirelessly tries to calm him down, and eventually, the shocking truth begins to emerge.
