Late Autumn

Late Autumn is an English-language film directed by Kim Tae-yong that was released in 2010. Tang Wei plays Anna, a prisoner who is granted 72 hours of parole to visit family in Seattle and meets and befriends a fleeing South Korean man (Hyun Bin).

"Late Autumn" is considered a film praising love that overcomes all barriers. Anna is granted 72 hours of parole to visit her family in Seattle after learning that her mother has died and that her brother John has arranged her bail. On the coach, she meets Hoon (Hyun Bin), a young Korean man who borrows US$30 for a ticket and gives her his watch as collateral, promising to pay her back later. Hoon runs into Anna again in Seattle, and the two spend some time together. The next day, he attends her mother's funeral and later gets into a fight with Wang at a restaurant. Anna tells him she has to return to prison on time, but Hoon isn't going down without a fight.
