Rampant

Kim Sung-hoon directed Rampant, a South Korean period action zombie film. The film depicts a conflict between exiled prince Lee Chung (Hyun Bin) and Joseon minister of war Kim Ja-joon (Jang Dong-gun), set against the backdrop of a zombie plague spreading.

The zombies in Rampant look much more terrifying because they have been meticulously groomed. With their wild white eyes, sharp teeth, pale face, and countless veins of black blood, the Rampant will undoubtedly frightens many spectators every time they appear. Because the story is set in the Joseon era, the characters can only use basic weapons like swords, bows, and early muskets. As a result, the ferocious monsters had to be limited in their abilities by some conditions, which the writers expertly handled.
