The Swindlers

The Swindlers is a 2017 crime action film from South Korea. A con artist who was thought to be dead after committing grand fraud is said to be alive. To avoid a corruption scandal, a prosecutor, Park, who was in collusion with the con man, must eliminate him. When tracking down the con man, Park meets another con artist named Ji-sung, who is also out for personal vengeance on the same man. They decide to collaborate after realizing their common goals, but with hidden motives.

The Swindlers displays typical elements of the crime genre while maintaining a consistent, fast tempo throughout. Although the tricks and tricks are not new, they are explained simply and easily so that anyone can quickly grasp the story's events. The film releases a plot twist with an increasing level of surprise every 15 minutes on average, ensuring that the audience is led from one surprise to the next.
