Akashi
The Japanese White Oak Distillery was established in 1888 and it is the oldest sake brewery. In 1919, recognized as the first factory in Japan to obtain a license to produce whisky and distilled spirits. In 1984, the first whisky is distilled under the name Akashi. Akashi's ingredients include selected barley and malt from Scotland and natural spring water from the province of Hyogo.
Akashi is now famous for whisky such as Akashi White Oak Blended Whiskey 40%, Akashi Single Cask 10 Year Old Sherry Butt, Akashi Single Malt, Akashi Single Malt 5 Year Old Bourbon Cask, and Akashi Single Malt 5 year old Sherry Cask. These wines are multi-layered with deep flavors, spicy, delicate tees, salty taste of salt water with the sweetness of mixed fruit balance.
