Kamiki

Kamiki whisky produced by families living at Omiwa Shrine in Nara is used as a blessing at Shinto shrines. Omiwa Shrine is located at the foot of Mount Miwa, a sacred mountain protected by the shrine. Kamiki whisky is a symbol of aging in pineal casks combined with the finish of Japanese cherry trees.

The aim is to produce Japanese-style whisky that is a harmony between nature and Japanese art. Kamiki has combined malt whisky from Japan and parts of the world infused with pure spring water and aged in casks that include snow wood, sandalwood, and green tea flavors.

Kamiki Blended Malt Whisky is a commercially available product with Japanese style characteristics when aged in rare cedar barrels.
