Yoichi

Yoichi Distillery located in Yoichi, Hokkaido, Japan, was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of the Nikka brand. Yoichi is owned by Nikka Whisky Distilling.

Choose the northernmost island of Hokkaido as the production site for Yoichi whisky, as its proximity to Scotland's climate offers a subtle, rich flavor with a hint of sea breeze. Since then Yoichi whisky has developed more characteristics such as bright yellow color, smoky peat, fruit, floral and oak aromas. The varieties produced are Yoichi Single Malt, Yoichi 10-year-old Single Malt, Yoichi 12-year-old Single Malt, and Yoichi 10-year-old Single Malt.
