Hakushu
Hakushu was founded in 1973, in the forest on the slopes of Mount Kaikoma. Hakushu is one of the distilleries owned by Suntory company, Hakushu is currently located in Toribara, Hakushu-machi, Hokuto city, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Inspired by the natural landscape of the green forest, Hakushu whisky has set up its production base on the mountainside to easily find natural, pleasant ingredients, and blend in with the atmosphere of the forest scene. Hakushu whisky always proposes to carefully choose from finding a source of clear water, a reasonable building for customers to both drink wine with a pleasant taste and experience the natural climate, creating a uniqueness that only Hakushu whisky has.
Hakushu whisky is famous for its single malts such as Hakushu 12 Years Old, Hakushu 18 Years Old, and Hakushu 25 Years Old. The products are all 100% barley malt, dried on a peat fire. The outer shape reveals a hint of the craft tradition at the heritage's roots.
