Akudama Drive

Kansai is a busy metropolis that exudes perfection, far from reality. Behind the scenes of this incredible futuristic metropolis lurks a menace in the shape of Akudama, violent and lethal outlaws. To make things worse, the Kansai government is concealing countless mysteries, which one young lady is about to discover for herself. After being mistakenly identified as an Akudama, a regular lady becomes one of the city's most sought-after dangers and must now withstand not only her new friends but also the realities of this ostensibly ideal metropolis.

Evil seems to be a straightforward term to use when referring to someone who has been declared a criminal. However, as you will shortly discover, evil is not a monochrome concept in the context of Akudama Drive. We enjoyed Akudama Drive's sci-fi action but also were engrossed in the various human dimensions it incorporates. If you like action-packed thrillers and are looking for a genuinely remarkable anime, you will adore Akudama Drive even more than we do.
