Inuyashiki: Last Hero

Ichirou Inuyashiki, 58, has allowed reality to wrinkle him more than others despite his old appearance. Ichirou wanes closer to his death with each passing day as family and job worries pile upon his shoulders. After a doctor's visit confirms that Ichirou's death is imminent, he takes his lone companion—a tiny puppy he adopts—for a stroll to express his grief to the skies. Ichirou is murdered by a spacecraft that crashes onto the Earth as he regrets his life.

To avoid any complications that could arise from a person's unexpected death, the aliens resuscitate Ichirou, but his flesh is no longer how he was used to. Heavily armed with weapons and enhanced robotic powers, Ichirou will have to utilize his newfound ability to defend others and put an end to a threat who was also granted his newfound "gift."
