American International School of Lagos

The American International School of Lagos, which was founded in 1964 and offers the IB Diploma curriculum, educates students from preschool through grade 12. AISL provides a safe and secure learning environment as well as dedicated and highly qualified teachers who ensure that students receive the individual attention they need and deserve. The AISL community aids in the creation of a family atmosphere.

The kids and their families come from 52 different countries and cultures, yet we are all bonded by our individuality. Not only do the children gain knowledge from these various perspectives, but they also develop lasting friendships with people from all over the world. Their teachers are certified or have the same qualifications as those in the United States.

Like their students, AISL's teachers and international faculty are a diverse group. 54% are from the United States of America, 15% from Nigeria, 10% from Canada, 6% from India and South Africa, and 15% from Australia, France, Lebanon, Mexico, Poland, Puerto Rico, Spain, the United Kingdom, Venezuela, and Zambia.
