Arrested Development

Arrested Development is a three-season American television sitcom developed by Mitchell Hurwitz that initially aired on Fox from 2003 to 2006. It was then revived for two seasons on Netflix from 2013 to 2019. The Bluths, a once rich dysfunctional family, are the focus of the sitcom. There are various running jokes and catchphrases throughout the show. Ron Howard is an executive producer as well as the show's omniscient narrator, and he also appears in later seasons as a fictionalized version of himself.

The series gained critical praise and a cult following, winning six Primetime Emmy Awards and one Golden Globe Award. Time, Entertainment Weekly, and IGN have all called it one of the best television series of all time. Later single-camera comedy programs such as 30 Rock and Community were influenced by it.
