Banjarmasin
Banjarmasin is a coastal city in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan. It served as the province's capital until February 15, 2022. The settlement is situated on a delta island near the confluence of the rivers Barito and Martapura. The city is the largest city in South Kalimantan and one of the main cities of Kalimantan. It was historically the heart of Banjarese culture and the capital of the Sultanate of Banjar. Banjarmasin has a total size of 98.46 km2 and a population of 657,663 people in 2020.
