Lampung
Lampung is one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Indonesia. It is situated on the island of Sumatra's southernmost tip. It shares a short border with Bengkulu province to the northwest and a long border with South Sumatra province to the north. It is the ancestral home of the Lampung people, who speak their own language and has their own written script.
Although tourism is not the main source of income in Lampung, the administration has worked to enhance tourism in a variety of ways, mostly through beaches such as Flamboyant Tanjung Setia. This attraction aims to attract visitors to Tanjung Setia Beach, which features a natural panoramic view and is a surfing destination. The province has been increasingly popular for snorkeling and diving in recent years.
Many local and international divers visit the province's diving destinations, including Pantai Ringgung, Pulau Tegal, Pulau Pahawang, Pulau Kelagian, Pulau Balak, etc. Lampung also contains a national park, Way Kambas National Park, which is popular with both domestic and international visitors. This park is a national park and elephant sanctuary in the East Lampung district of Labuhan Ratu. In addition to Way Kambas, there is another elephant training center in Minas, Riau.
