Beans
Beans are known to be excellent for the heart, but did you know they may also help you lose weight? Beans may not be on the menu of popular low-carb diets, but they are an excellent calorie-control alternative.
Beans are a good source of protein, B vitamins, iron, copper, zinc, and phosphorus, in addition to being high in fiber. Eating beans may help you lose weight without restricting your calorie intake too much. Protein, fiber, and slowly digested carbs combine to fill you up and keep you satisfied for longer. Lentils, black beans, kidney beans, and other legumes are among them. Adults who ate a variety of beans and legumes on a daily basis had much lower body weights than those who didn't, according to the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
