Previously, eggs were not thought to be diet-friendly, but that has changed. Several studies have shown that adding eggs to your diet might help you lose weight. Eggs are high in protein and have a moderate amount of fat, both of which help you feel satisfied.
Over the course of a few months, one research evaluated the impact of an egg breakfast with bagel breakfast. Even though all of the participants were on low-calorie diets, those who ate eggs every morning lost more weight and inches than those who ate bagels. Another study compared two groups of people who ate the same calorie breakfast of eggs or a bagel. Those who ate the egg breakfast at lunch ate much less fat and calories, owing to the protein's ability to keep them satisfied.
