Binz Beach
Binz Beach is located in Binz, in the center of Rugen Island, Germany's largest island. This location is regarded as the most popular resort in Germany and its surroundings. You can take a high-speed rail from Hamburg to get here. The beach is about ten minutes' walk from the Binz train station. To get a feel for the island, you can rent a car at the train station. Alternatively, hire a bicycle and take one of the seven fantastic bicycle excursions available on the island.
Binz Beach is well-maintained and tidy. The beach spans for roughly 5 kilometers and is 100 meters wide. It appears to go on forever and merges into the beautiful Baltic Sea on the horizon. There are no stones or shells on the beach, which is covered in coarse white sand. On rare occasions, seaweed and small jellyfish can be seen. The fall is safe and smooth. Binz Beach is located in a tranquil Prorer Wiek harbor, thus there are no strong winds or waves.
Families with young children flock to the beach in large numbers. One of Binz Beach's advantages is that it has dedicated zones for different types of visitors: there's a zone for pet owners and a zone for nudists, which is near the edge of the beach and thus doesn't draw much notice.
The greatest season to visit Germany's beaches is in July and August, when the Baltic Sea warms up enough for swimming but the air remains mild enough for excursions.
