Blue Jay (2016)

Alex Lehmann's fictional feature debut, Blue Jay, is a love drama film based on a script by Mark Duplass. Duplass and Sarah Paulson feature in the film. On September 12, 2016, the film made its global debut at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The plot of 'Blue Jay' centers around Jim and Amanda, who were high school sweethearts. Even though they haven't spoken in a long time, they run into one other at a grocery store in their hometown and are overjoyed to reconnect. While the dialogue starts with a bag of nostalgia, certain memories that should be kept secret crawl back to haunt the prior lovers. Jim and Amanda progressively come to terms with their past after losing their memories, and the audience is left cheering for the two to reunite.
