Calvert Cliffs State Park

The sandy beach is tiny, but there is a playground and 13 miles of hiking trails for guests to enjoy. Furthermore, Calvert Cliffs State Park is home to over 600 different types of fossils, so while the kids aren't making sandcastles or splashing in the sea, they'll have plenty of opportunities to go fossil scavenging.
