City Hunter (2011)

City Hunter is a 2011 South Korean television drama based on Tsukasa Hojo's Japanese manga series of the same name. It stars Lee Min-ho, Park Min-young, Lee Joon-hyuk, Kim Sang-joong, Kim Sang-ho, Hwang Sun-hee, Goo Ha-ra, Chun Ho-jin, and Lee Kwang-soo. It debuted on SBS on May 25, 2011, and concluded on July 28, 2011. This concert was a hit in Europe, paving the path for Lee Min Ho's fame there.

Lee Yoon Sung (Lee Min Ho) is a bright MIT graduate who works on the Blue House's foreign communications team. He becomes a "City Hunter," intending to get revenge on the five politicians who killed his father while on a secret operation with his surrogate father, Lee Jin Pyo (Kim Sang Joong). Lee meets bodyguard Kim Na Na (Park Min Young) while working at the Blue House, who wants in on his vengeance plans after discovering that they have the same purpose. However, issues arise as Lee repeatedly rejects his surrogate father while they attempt to locate and punish the authorities engaged in this scheme, commonly known as the "Council of Five."
