Trap (2019)

Trap is a South Korean television series that premiered in 2019 and stars Lee Seo-jin, Sung Dong-il, and Lim Hwa-young. It is OCN's debut series for their new "Dramatic Cinema" initiative, which merges film and drama formats. It aired between February 9 and March 3, 2019.

Kang Woo Hyun (Lee Seo Jin) brings his family on a vacation, but their plans are derailed when they become targets in a hunting game. Soon after, his wife vanishes, and Woo Hyun is discovered comatose. He was taken to the hospital, and an inquiry was initiated. His slain son's body was discovered soon after. Woo Hyun is named as the key suspect in his wife's abduction and his son's death. Suspicions arise because, while portraying the bereaved parent, his behaviors appear deliberate and practiced. As a result, detective Go Dong Kook (Sung Dong Il) and profiler Yoon Seo Young (Lim Hwa Young) decide to conduct a more thorough investigation into him. They suspect that the whole accident had been staged because Woo Hyun was out to seek revenge.
