Clearwell Caves

Clearwell Caves is a natural cave system in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England, built some 330 million years ago by the action of underground streams. Clearwell Caves, which have been mined for iron ore and ochre since the Roman era, is now a working mining museum featuring a variety of activities.
