Clifton Observatory and Giants Cave
Giants Cave is a component of the Clifton Observatory and Giants Cave in Bristol, England. It is located in the St. Vincent's rocks. According to mythology, Giants Cave was formerly home to two giants: Goram and Ghyston, hence the name. The cave was originally a chapel in the year A.D. 305, and according to evidence discovered during excavation from Romano-British pottery, Giants Cave was also a haven of refuge at various points in history.
