Hellfire Caves
In Buckinghamshire, England, Hellfire Caves (also known as West Wycombe Caves) is a maze of man-made chalk and flint caverns. Hellfire Caves was excavated between 1748 and 1752 for Francis Dashwood, co-founder of the Hellfire Club and founder of the Dilettanti Society.
It is believed to be a meeting spot for a variety of activities and is one of England's greatest tourist caves. It includes a massive Entrance Hall, Franklin's Cave, Banqueting Hall, a subterranean river known as The Styx, the Inner Temple, Circle, Triangle, and Miner's Cave, as well as a subterranean river known as The Styx. Hellfire Caves is dark and eerie in every sense of the word, yet it also allows filming for a fee. If you want to take your kids to see this cave, I recommend going during Halloween. The cave is at its most beautiful at this time.
