Reigate Caves
Reigate Caves, located in the Surrey town of Reigate, is easily accessible and only a short train ride from London. Reigate Caves, known for its caves that crisscross the town center, are mostly made of soft sandstones, and the excavations really aided in the construction of monuments and other elegant constructions.
Reigate Caves is divided into two sections: the Baron's Cave and the Tunnel Road Caves. The Baron's Cave is the more interesting of the two. It is quite difficult to explore Baron's Cave if you have severe mobility limitations. Private tours of Reigate Caves are also available.
