Dallas Buyers Club (2013)

'Dallas Buyers Club,' in addition to being a terrific film, tells the tale of Texas native Ron Woodroof, who went out of his way in the 1980s to find an effective treatment for patients suffering from AIDS, shortly after being diagnosed as HIV positive himself. After realizing that he is HIV positive, Ron Woodroof, a mustachioed rodeo cowboy, starts dealing in experimental drugs to treat AIDS. He meets Rayon, a drug-addicted transgender woman with HIV, in a hospital and the two shake hands for employment.

After first being hostile to Rayon, Ron gradually warms up to her appealing attitude, and the two form an understanding and respectful friendship that encourages Ron to examine himself and change for the better. Despite mixed to unfavorable reviews for the portrayal and growth of Rayon's character, the wonderful bond between Ron and Rayon will undoubtedly make you smile.
