The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert (1994)

'The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of Dessert,' starring Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce, and Terence Stamp, follows two gay drag queens and a middle-aged transgender woman as they decide to board a shiny silver-colored bus named Priscilla and drive across the Australian desert to put on drag shows for the residents of a remote town called Alice Springs.

The showgirls face several homophobic attacks as they travel from Sydney to a tourist town in Central Australia. Not allowing anything to get in the way of their aim, the three participates in long dialogues in which they uncover a secret or two about each other, resulting in a tighter friendship.
