Ditsch
Pretzels are the only thing more German than sausages (especially when paired with a side of mustard and a liter of beer), which is why we want Ditsch to start opening German bakeries in the United States.
Since 1919, they've been creating pretzels, which may be found in Germany, Austria, France, and Switzerland. We're not talking about Auntie Anne's pretzels here; we're talking about the chewy, dark brown, glistening pretzels that come to mind when you think of Germany, and they're not just plain. Let's talk about their sandwiches: pizza pretzels, buttered pretzels, pretzels with ham, pretzels with seeds... These aren't your average sandwiches; they're created with pretzel dough rolls.
They also serve pizzas and a variety of croissants with fillings such as ham and cheese or cream cheese. Dessert croissants are also available, including chocolate cream-filled croissants, marzipan croissants, and nut and nougat croissants.
