Hesburger's claim to fame isn't only their burgers; it's also their white cucumber mayonnaise, which is prepared on-site and served with all of their burgers.

While Hesburger may at first appear to be similar to McDonald's or Burger King, there are a few menu items that distinguish it. The Ruis Burger, for example, consists of a beef patty sandwiched between two slices of organic rye bread and topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, two onion rings, and paprika mayonnaise. Hesburger's name is deceiving because they also serve kebabs - and, once again, it's the sauce that elevates them to new heights. The typical kebab sauce is a red pepper mayonnaise, and to demonstrate how much people enjoy their sauces, they say that employees can expect to make more than 1,000 liters of it throughout each work shift!

Hesburger also makes its own ketchup, producing approximately 2,200,000 pounds per year according to a top-secret recipe. Doesn't it sound great?
