Eureka Tower

Eureka Tower is a 297.3 m (975 ft) tall skyscraper located in Melbourne's Southbank area, Victoria, Australia. Construction began in August 2002, and the exterior was completed on June 1, 2006. The square was completed in June 2006 and the building officially opened on October 11, 2006. The project was designed by Melbourne architecture firm Fender Katsalidis Architects and built by Grocon (Grollo Australia).


The tower was developed by Eureka Tower Pty Ltd, a joint venture between Daniel Grocon, investor Tab Fried and one of the tower's architects, Nonda Katsalidis. It was the world's tallest residential tower in height[5] until it surpassed Dubai's Ocean Heights and HHHR towers. It was Melbourne's tallest building from 2006 to 2019 to the Australian 108 Summit. Currently, the third-tallest building in Australia at 108 after the first block in Queensland and Australia, and the second-tallest building (without a spire ... ) behind the last skyscraper. As of 2016, it was the 15th tallest residential building in the world.
