First and Last (2018)

First and Last is a Netflix documentary non-scripted reality television series from the United States that premiered in 2018. Each episode follows convicts on their first or last days at Gwinnett County Jail, a pre-trial detention facility in Georgia, United States. Throughout the season, the criminal justice system in the United States is also explored. On September 7, 2018, the whole season of First and Last, comprising of six episodes, was published.

It begins with rolling cameras on newly arrested convicts and then follows their trip up to their final days in jail and to the end of their stays in the facility. This show captures some profound insights into the life of these inmates and provides far more than you could anticipate from a prison docu series.
