Prison Playbook (2017-2018)

Prison Playbook is a 2017 South Korean television series directed by Shin Won-ho. It aired on tvN for 16 episodes from November 22, 2017, to January 18, 2018, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:10 (KST). The series was a commercial success, and it went on to become one of the highest-rated Korean shows ever on cable television.

'Prison Playbook' depicts prison life in an unexpectedly new way – with a lot of humor. The story follows a baseball player who is at the peak of his career but somehow lands himself in prison after attempting to rescue his sister from a sexual assault. All of this occurs only days before he was scheduled to play for the Boston Red Sox. But now that he's behind the jail, he'll have to learn to live and adjust to his new surroundings.
