Is Flying Fish The Star's isolated dining precinct's greatest restaurant? Sokyo may say no, but that doesn't mean the food on offer at this venerable fish establishment isn't worth trying. Flying Fish is a Sydney institution for fresh seafood supplied from Australian and New Zealand seas.
Start with sea urchin, guanciale, and herb butter macaroni, then move on to charcoal-roasted split prawns with shellfish and chilli dressing, and finally, your main course, whether it's Eastern rock lobster spaghetti with tomato and shellfish bisque or BBQ swordfish with charred cipollini onions and fennel zucchini.
