Franco Manca
The original Brixton location of Franco Manca remains the greatest pizza place in London thanks to its top-notch, UK-sourced (where possible) ingredients, quick and pleasant service, and rapid turnover. The lively market arcade is visible from both the inside and outside seats. You may satisfy your hunger for authentic, Neapolitan-style pizza here, with a flavorful, slow-rise sourdough crust and a wide range of classic and inventive toppings. In season, purists will like the tomato, garlic, and oregano or the tomato, mozzarella, and basil. The rich, greasy Spanish sausage is available in two types (thick-cut and thin-cut, dry) over the delectable chorizo pizza, which is evocative of New York's iconic pepperoni pizza.
Other menu options and daily specials include a range of seasonal vegetable and cured meat-laden pizzas that, although excellent, is a touch crowded. Side salads and the restaurant's peculiar lemonade (murky brown and slightly like an Arnold Palmer, due to a tannic undertaste) are strongly suggested as thoughtful accompaniments to the carbohydrate-heavy pizza. There is also wine and beer available. You can see their menu, and order delivery or takeaway on Franco Manca's website.
