Graspop Metal Meeting

Since 1996, the Graspop Metal Meeting has been an annual Belgian heavy metal event hosted in Dessel. Despite the modest size of the festival grounds (approximately 4 km in circumference), the event attracts a great number of guests from all across Europe, with 152,000 visitors in the 2015 edition.

There's no other way to phrase it: the roster for Graspop is massive. Legendary artists such as Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Megadeth, and Whitesnake will perform with current behemoths Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones, Volbeat, and others in one of the world's largest lineups. Every year, tens of thousands of metalheads gather, fists up, to watch their beloved metal legends. No metalhead should miss out on this spine-tingling, pit-smashing mayhem.

For over 25 years, the Graspop Metal Meeting has brought together behemoths of metal music in Dessel, making it one of the most prominent among the continent's main metal events. With an estimated 150,000 festival-goers each year, there are enough of devil horns to go around.
