Gunman in Joseon

Do you enjoy tragic vengeance stories that are filled with love, adventure, action, and drama? If so, this historical drama about a badass rebel shooter is for you. The fact that Lee Jun Ki stars in this period drama may be enough to pique your attention since he is well-known for his work in historical Korean dramas.

Park Yoon Kang, a young swordsman and the son of the royal head guard, is the protagonist of the novel. His happy existence is cut short when his father is cruelly slain and his sister is enslaved. On this day, he promises to revenge his father's death and release her sister from servitude. So, how is our protagonist going to do this? He chooses to adopt the new persona and exchange his sword for a rifle. And this is in late-nineteenth-century Joseon when the gun is still a relatively new weapon. He merely wanted vengeance, but he ends up becoming a hero for the people.
