The Princess’s Man
This isn't an average 60-episode drama like the others on the list. It's far shorter than that, and it doesn't precisely adhere to the standards of classic historical drama. The romance takes center stage here, rather than political intrigues and intrigue (which exist, but are all intertwined, making the politics more fascinating). So, even if you're one of those K-drama lovers that makes it a point not to watch historical series, The Princess's Man is worth your time.
The Princess's Man is a romantic historical drama about star-crossed lovers; think of it as the Korean equivalent of Romeo and Juliet. It's a love story between the daughter of the grand prince who aspires to be king and the son of her father's worst foe. Obviously, the unlucky girl's life gets incredibly complex when her father opposes the guy she loves.
