Queen for Seven Days
Queen for Seven Days is a South Korean television series starring Park Min-young as Queen Dangyeong, as well as Yeon Woo-jin and Lee Dong-gun. From May 31, 2017, until August 3, 2017, it is broadcast on KBS2 every Wednesday and Thursday at 22:00 (KST).
This historical drama is based on the sad love tale of King Yeok and Queen Chae Kyung, who was dethroned only a week after her coronation. Chae Kyung is exiled away from her rich home when her parents are forewarned of her fate by a prophecy. The prophecy predicted her family's doom if she became entangled with the royal family. Despite their attempts, her fate remains unchanged. Fate keeps bringing Chae Kyung and the great prince together, and tragedy seems to follow them at every step. With the passage of time, the girl finds herself in the midst of the feud between the monarch and the grand prince.
