Guzé Bistro – Valletta

Guzé Bistro is located in the historic core of Valletta, within the walls of a 16th century building on Old Bakery Street. Guzé Bistro has been winning over locals and visitors alike with its fresh Mediterranean food centered on seasonal produce, housed in an evocative 16th century edifice. Main courses such as delicate local pork belly with butternut squash and butter roasted Mediterranean red prawns are accompanied by a comprehensive wine list.

After a protracted renovation, the restaurant reopened in 2011 with all of its original characteristics intact. The style of food has evolved over time, but the techniques and passion that give our visitors with a one-of-a-kind experience have not. Guze's cuisine and cooking approach focuses on seasonal ingredients, and dishes are created to taste as natural as possible. The rustic interior, as well as the blend of bright and dark tones of the wooden furnishing, can be seen from the street, giving the area a welcome vibe. Once inside, sophisticated and exquisite Mediterranean cuisine dishes enchant customers with their rich flavors. Pasta or risotto, a degustation of local meat, and fresh rabbit from the area are all on the menu.
