Ta' Marija, which opened in 1964, is one of the island's most historically significant eateries. Diners have been able to present a fresh take on Maltese cuisine, one that serves as a blend of the old and new, thanks to this long-standing experience and the chefs' explosive innovation.

Ta' Marija has been in the heart of Malta's dining scene for many years, specializing in serving the most authentic Maltese meals. After starting out as a nightclub, the Muscat family transformed it into a restaurant, which they have owned and operated ever since. The menu features a variety of specialties made using locally obtained ingredients and cooked according to recipes passed down from generation to generation, such as the timpana, a baked pasta pie with minced beef, chicken liver, eggs, and pecorino cheese.
